  The Lord has called Lonny Carpenter to First Baptist Church of Lawton, he now resides as Pastor, and was ordained in 2007. The church has seen a growth spurt in the last several months. Praise God! This quaint church has been standing for 150 yrs and still has its original stain glass windows and curved wooden pews. Presently there are seventy plus in the congregation, talks have begun in refurbishing the loft in order to bring more of God`s people in.Summer evenings the sunlight shines through the stainglass windows that send rays of colored light throughout the church. First Baptist Church is a Bible Believing Fundemental Baptist Church.
